The Stockbridge-Munsee Community is constructing a new casino and luxury hotel at the site of the Mohican North Star Casino in Bowler, Wisconsin. The new casino includes Class II and Class III gaming (slot machines, table games, and bingo), together with appropriate ancillary facilities, including a luxury hotel, food and beverage outlets, parking facilities, and related infrastructure. The master plan includes an entertainment center and a conference center in future construction phases. The site for the facility is very confined due to wetlands and existing public roadways. The confined site combined with the need to keep the existing casino operational during construction of the new casino offered significant challenges related to the site design and project sequencing During the design phase of the project, Vierbicher provided surveying, civil engineering, and water resources services. Specific project activities included:
