Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is expanding its Wisconsin Dells resort with a new 237-room hotel. The $50 million expansion project is expected to create more than 200 new jobs and is scheduled to be completed in spring 2024.
The new hotel will be located northeast of the Kalahari Sands Building and will feature 4 floors of guest rooms. All of the rooms will have two queen-size beds and a sleeper sofa featuring a pullout bed, making them ideal for families and groups. An overhead walkway will connect the new hotel to the Kalahari Sands building.
The Kalahari resort in Wisconsin Dells is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state, attracting millions of visitors each year. The resort features a massive indoor waterpark, a variety of dining options, and a wide range of activities and entertainment options for all ages.
The Kalahari resort in Wisconsin Dells is the first of three Kalahari resorts in the Midwest. The company also operates resorts in Sandusky, Ohio, and Round Rock, Texas.

Vierbicher prepared topographic survey, site plan, site grading and erosion control plans, stormwater management plan, landscape plan, and permit applications for the project.
