As the result of a successful $23.5 million facilities referendum vote in 2016, the Whitewater Unified School District has had the opportunity to make substantial modifications to their five district school sites.
Working cooperatively with the project architect, Vierbicher provided civil engineering for the renovations which included surveying, access improvements, modifications to parking lots, drainage improvements and modifications, ADA improvements, and other site modifications to allow for building expansions. Viebicher also provided landscape architecture services for an interior courtyard that was created through the expansion of Lincoln Elementary School.
Vierbicher completed site design for each school site and is assisted in construction administration. The site design included creation of demolition plans, site plans, grading and erosion control plans, utility plans, and stormwater management plans. The improvements are being constructed over two seasons.
